Measuring a wall for custom wallpaper is simple: measure the width and height of the wall in feet, multiply them for the square footage, and that's what you pay for (per sq ft). Because we print each mural made to your exact size, there's almost no waste. Here's the exact method.

Step 1 — Measure the width
Use a steel tape. Measure the full width of the wall, edge to edge, at the widest point. Note it in feet (or inches/cm — our calculator converts).
Step 2 — Measure the height
Measure floor to ceiling at the tallest point. If the ceiling is uneven, use the larger number so the mural fully covers.
Step 3 — Multiply for square feet
Width (ft) × Height (ft) = square feet. Example: a 10 ft × 8 ft wall = 80 sq ft. At ₹99/sq ft that's ₹7,920; at ₹199/sq ft, ₹15,920 — GST included. See the full wallpaper price guide.
Do I add extra for trimming?
No. Unlike fixed rolls you cut and join, we print your mural to the exact wall as one seamless piece, so you don't buy extra. Add ~1 inch only if your wall edges are very uneven — our team advises on your proof.
Doors, windows and sockets
Measure the full rectangle of the wall (ignore doors/windows) — the mural is trimmed on-site around openings. For odd shapes, send us the measurements and we'll help.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Measuring in the wrong unit — our size calculator takes ft, inch, cm or metre.
- Under-measuring height on a sloped ceiling.
- Forgetting it's per square foot, not per roll.
