One of the most important things to understand when ordering printed products is that there will always be some degree of colour variation between what you see on your screen and the final printed product. This is inherent to the printing industry and is not considered a defect.

Computer monitors, mobile screens, and tablets all display colours differently depending on their calibration settings, colour profile, brightness, and the technology used (LCD, OLED, IPS, etc.). The printed output depends on the printing technology (eco-solvent, UV, latex, sublimation), the substrate material (vinyl, fabric, canvas, paper), and the colour profile used during production (CMYK vs RGB).

As a general guideline, a colour variation of +/-5% from the on-screen representation is considered within the acceptable and industry-standard tolerance range. If colour accuracy is critical for your project, we recommend requesting a physical colour swatch or small test print before proceeding with a large order. Colour variations within the stated tolerance do not qualify for returns, refunds, or replacements.

3. Pattern Repeat Tolerance

For wallpapers and wall murals featuring repeating patterns, there may be slight variations in the pattern alignment or repeat distance. A tolerance of +/-0.5 cm in pattern repeat is considered within the acceptable manufacturing range. This variation can occur due to the mechanical processes involved in large- format printing, substrate stretching during production, and cutting tolerances.

Professional wallpaper installers are experienced in managing minor pattern repeat variations and can adjust during installation. Pattern repeat tolerances within the stated range do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for a return or refund.

4. Material and Texture Variation

The Prints Plus sources high-quality substrates from reputable manufacturers. However, natural variations in material texture, weight, and finish may occur between production batches. For example, the texture of a fabric-based wallpaper may vary subtly from one roll to the next, or the sheen on a canvas print may differ slightly from a previously ordered product of the same type.

These variations are within the acceptable range of the material manufacturer's specifications and do not affect the functional performance or visual quality of the product in any meaningful way. Material texture variations are not considered defects.

5. Installation Responsibility

Unless you have specifically purchased our professional installation service, the installation of wallpapers, wall murals, and other products is the customer's responsibility. The Prints Plus is not liable for any damage, imperfections, or unsatisfactory results arising from improper installation by the customer or a third-party installer not engaged through us.

Common installation issues that are outside our responsibility include: bubbles or wrinkles caused by improper application technique, damage to walls or surfaces during installation, adhesive failure due to inadequate wall preparation (dirty, damp, or unpainted surfaces), misalignment of panels during application, and cutting errors made during trimming.
